  A cautionary tale of how potent a concoction of past unresolved traumas and subsequent loneliness is a complicated web of truth, solace, and pain (pun intended). I have not seen an Adam Sandler movie outside his usual archetype and filmography until now. I think he plays the character well and evokes relatable emotions superbly.

  About 3/4ths of the way in, I realized this is like a gentle nod to young Johnny Depp's Sleepy Hollow; with that said, it's fulfilling to see this come to fruition - though I did come for my boy Willem.

  extra points for the long-take style... but it was disorienting af with the camera shakiness that can't seem to make up its mind on having a found footage theme, so it's inconsistent - i can see how it plays with the overall theme and is immersive, but it was actually hard to enjoy watching it - movie was short, and the plot had some holes that do the exceptional quality of the movie a disservice
