  such a weird movie for a first solo date at the cinema!
  I found it a mix of Poor Things, The Killing of a Sacred Deer but also Midsummer. in certain instances, it can also be funny due to its absurdity, while at the same time dealing with very heavy themes like crazy psychological (and not only) abuse inflicted on a person… I always have a confused opinion about Lanthimos's films, but he always has an interesting approach.
