Kung Fu Panda 4 2024
wanted to enjoy this so bad but the quality was very poor, felt like I was stuck watching a very long tv show. I’m not sure why but it has just lost its charm for me, situations and jokes felt almost typical and aggravating to watch rather than endearing and heartwarming

filmed in a very fun and interesting way! explores a lot of a persons deep dark desires, trauma, and how that trauma subsequently manifests itself in dark and potentially harmful ways. loses its grip on me slightly towards the end of this mini-series but was a easy watch and very funny at times too.

Dune: Part Two 2024
absolutely fantastic, and better than the first movie in the best way possible. knowing some background information about what actually takes part in the books adds another layer of nuances to the plotlines, even though it does not follow the events in the book directly I think the changes villeneuve makes are perfect in terms of pacing and tempo of the film. super interesting cinematography (giedi prime was so cool!). I look forward to watching this movie again and again :)
