  I rewatched this today for probably the fifth time. I thought this was in the second tier of my personal MCU rankings but I've changed my mind after this rewatch. It is a little long and there are definitely holes in the logic of the story. That said, the point at which the portals open is probably my favourite moment of cinema in the past 15 years. It gets me every time. The level of difficulty in getting this film right was so high and they more than pulled it off.

  Still excellent 25 years later. Great action set pieces mixed with intrigue and some good character work. Probably my second favourite movie in the franchise.
