Going from Electric State to this was crazy whiplash. The complete difference in move making and what drives the movie between performances here and CGI there is night and day. The only reason it’s not higher is because I lived the beginning and end much more than the middle. To use real people with real stories and real grief made for such an important movie.
I know it’s not the main message, but if you ever wondered why programs like social security exist and why it’s our job to help care for those past their prime earning years, watch this.
