June Squibb is everyone’s grandma. A touching and personal film from Josh Margolin with the right amount of tears and laughter. Though the story can get a little fuzzy at times due the script, it’s nice the way it gives seniors a spot to shine and reminding us that they matter.

Most People Die on Sundays 2024
For some reason it feels so uncomfortable to watch, but you can’t stop. It’s a compelling story about fear and uncertainty. It’s funny and compelling, though awkward and realistic. A little flawed in rhythm and coherence at times, but it’s part of its magic.

Terrifier 3 2024
It’s wild, it’s good, it’s more story-driven; Art the clown is definitely a new horror icon. Same formula as past films, but it feels with better structure.

Smile 2 2024
Naomi Scott delivers possibly her best performance so far, the movie tries to explain more of the paranormal phenomenon surrounding the story. It’s more effective than its predecessor, but the smiling thing still feels kind of clunky at times. Nevertheless the production value goes higher in this one and the scares are planned better, so they don’t feel that repetitive and they’re even creative in some parts.
