The Wild Robot 2024
Expecting a silly kids movie, but instead delivered heart-warming messages and tear jerking moments. Juggles a lot of important themes that you wouldn’t expect. Was unsure how they would execute final act but did it very nicely. Only reason not a 5/5 because wished they had more dialogue between Brightbill, Fink and Roz and 3rd act was tad bit rushed, other than that highly recommend.

For a 2010 comedy this felt very meh. Had higher hopes, idk only like 1-2 good jokes but everything else felt weird. Adam Sandler looked like he was bored asf every scene. Also felt like there was no theme in movie? No catalyst or climax just kinda weird plateau. Thought the coachs words at the beggining would’ve set the tone/theme of the movie of ‘live life to the fullest” but doesn’t really execute it well with the families ( and their weird/short issues). Maybe I’m reading too deep into this but yea idk just kinda mehh. Hope Grown Ups 2 is a lot better.

Insane acting, everything done in this film makes you question what would you do/act and it creates an extremely realistic and suspenseful film. Only downsides, is can get a little confusing so need to be paying attention throughout the whole thing, and once again I don’t like when the villian’s motives are religious … “war on god”. Feels a little cop outty. But other than that, love this movie.
