Man they don’t make movies like this anymore. Early 2000s were a renaissance for Films and these movies prove that more than anything.
This movie specifically is incredibly nostalgic for me (on top of the amazing production all around). I love the feel this movie has to it through the way it develops the characters and makes you feel attached to every single one. Such a beautiful film to.

This was a big mess. Hella over-hated though this film definitely had some highs especially Carl Lumblys performance as Bradley best part of the movie in my opinion.

I absolutely love the double meanings and the way this film handled the themes it tackled.
Also the little boys funeral scene has some of the most beautiful cinematography in any Wes Anderson film I’ve seen🙏
