It Ends with Us 2024
So much better than I was expecting, having not read the book I thought the film was going to lean more towards romance, especially with how it has been being described in interviews… but I thought it was very well done. The sets and the costumes were beautiful. Although I do think it treaded a line towards romanticising the serious aspects of the film I thought there were still some brutal moments.

I loved both halves of the film, I kind of wish that the film had focussed on the romantic relationship or the relationship with the parents instead of both. Despite that I thought Andrew Scott was amazing and his interactions with his parents was so moving, I LOVE CLAIRE FOY!!
The chemistry between him and Paul Mescal was really convincing and their conversations were so gentle and quiet, it made it feel really intimate, especially combined with the amazing lighting…Translated from by
