Mean Girls 2024
For someone who’s never seen the musical live or even the “slime tutorials” on YouTube, I really enjoyed this. Pretty disappointed in Cady’s singing compared to the broadway rendition but I really enjoyed the other characters’ performances. Karen and Regina made me focus on this like I’ve never focused on any movie before. My eyes were GLUED. It was fun and I had a good time.

Coming from someone who watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory religiously as a kid, this gave me the Willy Wonka backstory I've been craving. The script did make me laugh from cornyness at some points but the colors, creativity, and fun energy completely made up for it. You're going to want candy after watching.
