The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008
As much as I love The Mummy, I could not make this one make sense. There's a timeline error with Alex's age. Mario Bello did not suit the role, and we switched settings. I'm not against exploring other regions that practice mummification, but they could have eased into that better. I know the second film ended Imhotep for good, but there are so many Egyptian legends they could have used as a villain to continue the Egyptian aspect until that transition from Egypt to China. The first two were a thrill ride. This was like going on the King Aurther ride at Disneyland. Underwhelming.
