A powerful ending signalling the world can be a purely transactional jungle.
At first, I was left thinking the movie didn’t go deep enough into Ani’s history, but the recurrent hints at her annoyance when called Anora are powerful enough to understand her relationship patterns: alienation, loneliness, and hard origins. Surprisingly deep movie.
Germans talking about the weather so they don't have to discuss the slightest emotion. Feels like a documentary.
First, EAT THE RICH.
Second, grief is a bitch.
Third, life is worth living.
More comforting that other movies on suicide. A hug to everyone wishing an angel would have saved their loved one. Abandonment, guilt, anger and regret pass, love stays.
