  One day, in history class, children will study how people used satirical art forms to comment on the rise of a US fascist regime. For now, it was satisfying to see the idiot dictator get the ending he deserved.

  I love old cinema, gritty jazz, chasing unrealistic dreams, witty banter, flowy dresses, going home to reset when your heart really hurts, slow burns, reality checks, second chances, loving even when the end is in sight, coincidences, reminiscing, the tension before a kiss, vibrant colors, quiet tears, silly dancing, and melancholy. So obviously I am a fan of this film. And obviously I cried through most of it.
