    for what it intended to be its good. i just can’t hack the breakthrough that queues a sentimental music montage featuring a slow mo dance party with everyone she knows and loves at you guessed it, new years.

    Guadagnino is at this new pinnacle of fluid storytelling. The premise, his most interesting of his feature films. that doesn’t make it greater but his movement forwards is incredibly exciting to witness.

    gosh i almost wish the obsession was romanticised, it’s festering and grotesque.
    The absence of love takes up spatial location, im watching a man dissolving in this humid longing, it feels sticky.
