I love the Quiet place trilogy. I’m always interested in how these kind of castrophes start and how regular people would react. Except for main actress, Lupita Nyong’o, who plays the character of Sam, it really hit that mark. Dont get me wrong Sam was a great character but when she was on screen it felt like she was already dead. Versus Joseph Quinn’s performance of Eric who was fighting every second to live and not for “pizza” felt more…

The acting was off and it was not there. The bad guy literally monologues his whole plan. Kora is dreadful character. The actress tries to bring it to life but the character was plain to begin with. Charlie Hunman is missed for sure, he was killed off to easily and he was the most tolerable character. Couldn’t even finish it. Just go watch Star Wars or Dune.

This movie was a fantastic retake of a classic book. The film made you feel like you were in Paul Bauhmers shoes and were in the trenches losing your comrades. It was a heartfelt tragedy of a film, you were always on edge of your seat. I would say the best war film of this decade, and I hope more like this film continue.
