does a good job at storytelling and getting right into the why and what for battle royale. this one is substantially more ruthless and business oriented compared to similar shows/movies with this FFA concept
however, it does a good job at balancing the action with the slower, heartfelt on-screen relationships between characters which in turn helps show humanity in the characters [a route i was not anticipating. i thought it would be just pure chaos]
