This is everything a slasher should be. It's perfectly balanced. Just the right amount of horror, shock value, fun and CAMP. Unlike most slasher series, this is the only entry that knows what it is and how to be itself. Jason's design is the best in the series. The theme is so damn groovy and goofy and it sets the tone for the rest of the movie.
