This movie is proof that we need community to love, help and support each other. If the girls' social circle cared for them they could have saved them.
My question is: why didn't the principal -or any other person- contact social services (Not that it would do much but still this is insane). The parents had them locked in the house for 2-4 weeks, depriving them education and a normal life, and no one bothered to check?
