This film is basically something I would write or love in middle school.
I will say some of the effects are solid, Mille Bobby brown and Chris Pratt and more did a great in their performance. And i thought the ending was surprisingly heartwarming. But the story can't find its tone. The characters themselves are pretty 2 dimensional. I get why people despise this movie. But truly I have seen much worse films.
