I'm usually an easy crowd when it comes to the topic of death and dying, but this wasn't it. Formulaic and lackluster. The interviewee with the most screen time, a German philosopher who didn't seem to care much about people's feelings and fears surrounding death, was insufferable.
Also, judging by this doc, no women have much to say on the topic.

Teen girls take a film class and an entire world opens up for them. 50 years later, they meet with their now 90 year old teacher, director Edgar Reitz, to watch the footage and talk about the importance of cinema as a whole and this class experiment in particular.

I knew I would love this! I wish at least one of the girls had gone on to make movies, some of those classroom shorts are fantastic!
