Re-watched this with a friend and he knew the idea of the twist but not the context. He thought the whole film took place in a prison.

I always forget how funny this film is, and it’s always so interesting having someone watch it knowing the twist, but not knowing when the penny will drop.

This film continues to entertain and mystify every time I watch it, the masterclass of acting and direction never becomes dull and I always a joy to watch.

Showed it to a friend this re-watch and they enjoyed it, it’s always so interesting where they think the film is going to go and what their interpretation of the film is.

Overrated but still a great watch.

I feel like the section at the end where they do the saw “I’ve had this planned out the entire time” bit wasn’t needed at all.

All the pieces were laid out throughout the film and I think doing a flashback at the end just to outright tell the audience that he had this planned feels like a disservice to what came before and seemed to just be there to pad the runtime.
