  people need to overlook the porn in this and get down to the nitty gritty cuz I think this movie has a lot to say about abusive power dynamics in relationships and how destructive they are to the people involved. I haven’t seen enough analysis on how well this movie explores this and I could talk about it all day someone just people talk to me about it!! murphy can choke. electra lives 4eva

  i’m surprised that this is as unpopular an opinion on here as it is but holy shit I REALLY loved this movie. the way it’s all a metaphor for the nightmare that is suburbia and the nuclear family and the modern institutions that push us there. wow. I love me an eco horror about the housing crisis.
