Pretty fun, the first half is definitely stronger than the second, especially since the ending feels quite jarring, but overall this is definitely an enjoyable movie. Pattinson is great and Naomi Ackie is incredible, so it's a shame that Ruffalo kinda sucks in this. I don't think he's a bad actor, he's good in zodiac from what I remember, but after this and his performance in poor things I have to say I don't really want to see much more of him.

The Oscar voters who didn't finish this movie are undoubtedly weak willed but, this movie is still too long. The second half especially dragged along, and was nowhere near as interesting as it could have been. Rewatching this opens it up on a whole new level. The movie starting with a flashback and then them being interspersed throughout the movie allows us to learn quite a lot without even realising it. The directing and cinematography were beautiful and the score is better than I remember. Gotta watch more Villeneuve stuff bc as a whole this movie is transcendent.

Leone managed to take everything amazing from the first movie and turbocharge it here. my favourite upgrade has to be the sound design and score though, Morricone is now added to my list of all time best movie composers.
