  Actually a horrific gut wrenching experience that felt like my heart was being ripped out, chewed and masticated, and then shoved back inside me.
  Really such a beautiful, depressing movie. 
  Lars Von Trier, I hate you for what you’ve created - but thank you for creating a film to satisfy my emotional masochism. I love crying to movies and this is exactly what I needed. I am forever changed.

  Really gorgeous, comforting movie, following the evolution of these characters through grief and loneliness and physically, a train.

  definitely disturbing, i felt a bit gross and it took a while for me to get over seeing this. i’m definitely a horror/psychological thriller fan, but what bothered me here was the visceral humanity. a very strong, impactful film, that shook me to my core.
