so funny yet so sad at the same time, although i would’ve liked more character depth in anora so we could’ve understood and empathized w her more. comedy didn’t lack tho

ms coppola devours it once again. i love how the movie is told from priscilla’s perspective and shows how she practically devoted her entire life to elvis and his demanding rules and routines as a hollywood star. the movie perfectly encapsulates this constant dominance elvis wanted to have over priscilla, a reality many women can relate to, which he did by manipulating and removing all her sense of individuality until she merely became ‘elvis’s wife’.
