I watched this again on the day I found out my childhood dog died and began uncontrollably sobbing once Perrito started comforting Puss. My little Lilly was always there for me just like that whenever I had panic attacks and the screaming, crying, sometimes v scary fights with/between my parents were really really bad.
That said tho, the panic-attack-scene-in-children’s-animated-films trend needs to dial it back a little. Puss did it best in my (extremely biased) opinion so everyone else should stop trying.
