all jokes aside, i obviously immediately compared this movie to Dead Poets Society when i first watched it.
there were so many elements of pain and loneliness that you could feel radiating off of all three of the characters, and it makes each others warmth so much more radiating.
the ending struck me in a way that was opposite to dead poets society^^ in the end, both teachers lose their jobs to help someone else, but Giamatti only ended up…
