  Home Alone 1990

  I still remember seeing this in a packed theater with my family in 1990, the entire audience being shocked and laughing uproariously. Im sure the trailer had shown a lot of the jokes and hits but everyone was still surprised. Going to the movies used to be a magnificent ritual. 

  I haven’t seen it fully since, and don’t need to. It’s  the perfect memory.

  Gladiator II 2024

  -start with the scene of Lucius being smuggled out as a kid (this wasn’t a big reveal, it was stated in the adverts), the flashbacks weren’t effective 

  -give him more time before the war scene to actually MAKE him a character 

  -play up the conflict between him and Pedro Pascal as the main story of the film (Pedro is the shit)

  -CGI monkeys look like crap. One animal scene (def the rhino) only

  -he gets clipped in the face five…
