Where the Crawdads Sing 2022
Typical sadsack Oscar bait, following a protagonist whose life is too miserable for words. Considerable time is spent ensuring as much suffering as possible takes place for everyone involved, with heavy doses of melodrama and ceaseless despair.
Emotional torture porn is my least favourite genre, but I award two stars for the cat.

This film changed my life. Upon completion, I felt I was finally at a place where I could decouple from media and live out my days in the wilderness, free from thoughts of missing out on the future of popular culture as a result of my forced isolation.
