I didn’t not enjoy this movie but I didn’t feel connected to any of the characters in a meaningful way. I thought the story was interesting and enjoyed the flashbacks, and putting everything together.  It was interesting to see how the flaws and codependency they all had flourished throughout the years. Overall, I had higher expectations, but I still thought it was a good movie .

Leonard has short term memory loss after his wife was killed, and the film drags us along in this disorienting mind space by jumping back and forth in time, in segments only as long as his memory can hold on. This movie was super unique and unpredictable, and it was fun to piece together what really happened, and who we can trust, right along with him. Thanks mom for the recommendation!

This movie was crazy! I came in not knowing anything about this movie and boy howdie my goodness . Started off very sexy and then became very violent! I’m just in shock holy macaroni. I’m glad I watched this movie alone because there are some veryyy intimate scenes.
I enjoyed the exploration of the themes of addiction and codependency in the film but the surrealism towards the end took me out a little bit.

This could have been a soul crusher, and the ending was indeed sad, but I wish it left me sobbing. I teared up a few times, but I craved active tears streaming down my face. The actors were of course incredible, as I suspected, and I loved…
