I read the book in the week leading up to this watch and tbh the ending of both the book and the movie disappointed me. I just didn’t think that the motif of the killer related enough to the financial investigation like it did in the first movie. It was hard not to compare to the book so harshly and I think a rewatch in time might improve my opinion on it but the movie left out a vital plot point that supports the killers motif. I’m saying that, the acting and the set was amazing and held so much realistic tension.
