  The animation is creative for it’s time, but it may feel slow compared to today’s movies.

  While it might not have the smoothest animation, it’s an important piece of film history and a great introduction to Chinese folklore.

  It’s definitely worth watching if you’re interested in the beginnings of animation or classic Chinese stories.
