Maybe if I had watched this in 2018 I would have felt differently, but I don’t think this movie said much/enough. Was a fun watch, the pathetic white man-children in their basements hatching up very real bombing schemes felt like disney cartoon villians—goofy, idiotic, pure evil. The good guys, too, felt cartoonish. Blackkklansman felt to me like a film for the libs to make themselves feel like they are the good guys, without the message being tooooo far left for them to swallow.
