poor things feels as though it toes the line of being a great film, but is cut short by jarring flaws making it completely irritating and disappointing watch again the second time.
the setting, costuming and witty dialogue of the film make it partially enjoyable and i do think the concept of a Frankenstein sort of coming of age could have been executed successfully, but the film fails shockingly throughout.
