  sad but also distantly confusing. trying to mix surrealist film with real fantasy and lust and heartbreak - like some very tender moments and bits and beautifully filmed - i think although shit special FX and green screens acc was the vibe through and through - but apart from yearning for a younger male hmmm nae much else. if i was being approached by lee can’t say woulda done things differently …

  soooooo incredible. just pure human recognising human emotion where animals and anthropomorphism comes in in the best way. so gentle but hardcore. really gorgeous.

  at first couldn’t tell the time frame we were in. the characters are super contemporary and the humour matches this. but then the black and white is off putting. don’t think it needs to be. it’s odd to have something about platonic friendships and figuring out feminine solitude in black and white when it seems a colourful theme. ok can’t lie writing this an hour later, didn’t finish. greta gerwig is a great character, reminds me of my friend @oatmealdaughter but got bored. i have a short attention span tho
