  Maya Deren creates a trippy, surrealist film with a lot of interesting camera and editing tricks. Way ahead of it’s time. You can really see it’s influence in vertigo and David Lynch films. 🔑🪞🔪🌺

  Paris, Texas is one of those films that’s best going into not knowing anything about.  I was completely blown away. I was hooked from the beginning despite the fact not much goes on in the first 30 minutes. Some people argue that the pace is to slow, but I would say that it adds to the sense of mystery and intrigue. Slowly, small pieces of information are revealed that allows you to piece the puzzle together. The bright colour palette…
