  Classic Jim Carrey comedy, one of my favorites from when I was a kid. Much funnier now that I’m an adult and can relate to the characters on that level.

  I really enjoyed this one. So much of the negative criticism of this one was making me nervous about what i was getting in to, but i was more than pleasantly surprised! I definitely related to this story, Meilin's struggle was definitely something i could relate to and it really made me reflect on my own adolescence and how things were back then. Will definitely be watching again soon!

  The Wind Rises 2013

  Beautiful fluid animation, interesting story. Not the most whimsical or fantastical of Miyazaki’s work but still a great film. The film is based on Jiro Horikoshi’s work designing the Zero fighter plane during WW2, and is much more based in realism than other Miyazaki films. I still really enjoyed it and am glad to finally have checked it out!
