Upon watching The Order I did not know that it was based on a true story. With the clips I watched, I thought it was loosely based on the Aryan Nation. Prior to watching this, I did a deep dive on American extremism and current groups while my deep conditioner set in. With this knowledge, I can confirm that Kurzel’s The Order is the eerie breath of murky air we all need on a snowy Tuesday night.
