I love mappa but this gets a 10/10 for most unsatisfying endings. Season 2 just drops off. I guess I might get it if I read the manga 🤓 nvm I like showering to much to start reading manga
Literally can’t sit through this if I actually try to watch it. Romance has become a really foreign genre for me and this is a great example for why. Shit is so stiff and it all looks like scripted Instagram reels.
I watched this because it has cilian Murphy in it. Turns out, Lucy Liu IS the manic pixie dream girl. She is gold in this performance

Boi 😂🫱 Dinosaurs are lit!!
There were some things in this movie that were annoying but I think that’s similar in all the Jurassic movies. Like for the sake of the plot, dinosaurs will just ignore stuff sometimes. Like when the t-Rex could have just climbed over those two rocks on the river? Or the D-Rex just ignored the giant light on the front of the boat and the other flare that the guy set off? Okayyyy….
The theater experience far surpassed the actual content of this movie but it was still a very fun watch! I think the plot was strong, just not what I was expecting. I wonder if they’ll do anything with the enderdragon in the future? The female characters were not very fleshed out or interesting, and the movie would be the same without them after the first 20 minutes of exposition. I liked that it was almost like a musical with Jack Black’s songs. Also, I don’t think anyone else could have pulled off the role that they wrote for Steve. Typecast.
Luca Guadanino has a thing for kissing boys I think…….. this movie is mid lowkey. The story is complex and it’s hard to find someone to root for. I feel bad for Tashi’s daughter.
