The Matrix Resurrections 2021
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
the first hour - entertaining, self-referential and light-hearted. the rest - long, dry, and lacking the joys of neo being in the matrix. the love story was overburdened and underwhelming. the ending of trinity having the powers of 'the one' makes zero sense given the whole purpose of the rest of the franchise is finding neo to fulfill his destiny. in the same style as the third film - disappointing.
