  This movie wasn’t for me ultimately but I did appreciate the idea in the end…there’s a place for fantasy and when those desires come to the fore that can be freeing 🤷🏻

  *In hindsight I think I did like this movie, but the sex and tension were not really compelling to me. In a way, that’s okay because Kidman’s character’s particular fantasy is maybe not the point. The more salient point would be that her fantasies make her feel broken, disgusting, bad…allowing herself to bring them forth is what injects a missing sense of liveliness into her sex life with her husband.
