Stuck with me for a week or two - kindof felt like this film radicalized me. Totally went through a period of feeling frustrated and dark about the state of climate action. It is delusional and irresponsible (fucked up) that we are bringing people into this world that is collapsing and that we aren't doing anything to prevent the not so distant catastrophes that loom on the horizon. I wonder if we will see radical climate activists like this in the future?

Jonah Hill has achieved an incredible thing with his first film. It's a story that resonated with me, that boyhood struggle to fit into the pack. The performances he got out of this young cast (some of which had never acted before) is truly amazing. They are all so honest in the film - the characters and their friendships feel real and lived in.

Beautiful Boy 2018
This was a raw story, and knowing it's all from a real account of the father and son Nic and David Sheff made it even more tough to grapple with. Emotional performances especially from Timothee. The father to son repore was believable and honest. I saw a review saying this film wasn't 'raw enough' and 'didn't tackle the issue head-on', I found it to be the opposite there were moments that had me in tears, and moments that left me squirming.
