  i am willing to ignore the tributes and ring kissing of the franchise in exchange for the direction alvarez delivers. good deal!! 

  i am desperate to know the degree of studio involvement. who had their fingers in this pie, and was there a bulleted list of beats that MUST be hit? 

  the first throat-involved scare was worth the cost of the ticket alone. sound mix was excellent, more silence in movies set in space please. it makes me uncomfortable.
