I loved the emotional experience of watching this movie. I deeply related to both characters. The characters and ideas were rich. The story needed some reworking particularly in the second half. Benji was a but unbelievable at times but it was still amazing to watch Kieran's humanity. The emotional climax in the restaurant was riveting when David exposed Benji's troubles to the group.
It was like a Zombie B movie with a half baked political frenzy as the monster. A fresh concept which really could have been a worthwhile film. Unfortunately not a single turning point in the story maintained a shred of believability. Not the political stuff, mind you - that was all just innocuous, generic context that felt like it was plucked out of a Twitter conspiracy rant - I mean that almost none of the main characters' decisions or actions…
