  finally finished season 2, had stopped once it became an overly long and convoluted mess. Nonetheless, the good things about this show largely make up for any negatives. It’s a perfect summation of everything Lynchian: the macabre under the banal, surrealistic and absurd, dreamy, a mix of ultra-cliché with radical originality. 
  The entire vibe of the town is what I’m really drawn to, that Washington autumnal aesthetic.
  At its best, it’s nightmare-fuel with a killer soundtrack.

  got a chance to watch its premiere at the indielisbon fest, with a Q&A with Marco afterwards. 
  The amount of archive footage he’s collected is astonishing, all apparently found within a box that had been lost for 20 years (mentioned by Jarboe to the director).
