Wow. An amazing movie.
The casting was amazing -- WTF Ariana can act!?!?!?!? I've regrettably never seen the musical but I have listened to the soundtrack many times. I think Ariana does a better job than Chenoweth (EDIT, 30 minutes after I initially wrote this post: Ok.. I just rewatched/listened to some of the original songs. I was clearly on something. Watching paint dry is (actually) more fun because there's no expectation you have to be quiet for everyone else trying to watch.
