i refuse to believe this was directed by the same person who made the masterpiece that was « a most violent year » i refuse to believe he said CUT and was okay with the work he was given, the intonation of lines, the acting.

it's so obvious why the old shrivelled men @ the academy snubbed this film. they probably recognised themselves in the insecure, annoying, self-important, entitled male characters and got salty. LMFAO.
