This going to be a pretty short review.

All i can say is that you NEED to watch Taika Waititi's 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' for the two following reasons.

    1) The acting and the writing is amazing meaning that the 2 main stars have amazing chemistry together and their endless banter is a treat to watch.

    2) The cinematography is amazing and the film is well shot and lit there are a few scenes which show the passage of time in an absolutely stunning manner.

It is on Netflix and is well worth watching if you have the time for it.

Logan is the brutally violent X-MEN film everyone has wanted to see for years. It makes some great performances out of Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart and Stephen Merchant. The villains have decent motives. The cinematography is great and Laura and Logan have great chemistry. My one issue is that about 20-30 minutes in they find a phone belonging to one of the characters that just acts as an exposition dump and just drops loads of information in one place not spreading it evenly.

    Who Killed Captain Alex?

A film made in a third world country for around $200 and has longer takes and better choreographed fight scenes than most modern movies, it is definitely funny and distinctly charming. It is a testament to what can be done if people just have a pure passion for film making. My one issue with this film is the 'video joker' who constantly talks over the film and commentates over the action and cannot be turned off but still he does drop some very funny lines that have nothing to do with what is going on on-screen.
