Hard to rate a movie after all the hype and Oscar wins. I found the movie entertaining and loved the Brooklyn Brighten Beach/Coney Island streetscapes. Favorite character was Toro. Good acting and daring role for Mikey Madison.

Inside Out 2 2024
Watched on NYE and was just what I needed to see after the year I had. Anxiety took the controls for sure and as we saw, it’s not always the best to be your authentic self. Even this middle-aged lady (me) needed that reminding. Love that they demonstrated the importance of true friendship too, especially at that age when loyalty and trust is what a teen needs when things are going haywire. Hope there’s a 3rd movie.

Liked it more at second watching. Beautiful and nostalgic color palette. The scouts and kids had control of the narrative. Refreshing to see such earnest and wise characters at the age of 12 - love in its perfect form.
