Definitely goofier than I expected and it fell a bit surface level with some of the political commentary — though I believe there are more subtle notes than one might think at first — but the existential dread and questioning was all there, perfectly laid out for us to ponder on the whole film. It was a really fun watch, surprisingly endearing and romantic. Wanna watch again (and it definitely has nothing to do with that one scene with the two Mickey’s 👀).

The Big Short 2015
Watched this with my mom and ngl we had to stop a lot just to check if we were both understanding the whole finance explanations. Im pretty sure we only got lo like 45% of it. Still I believe that the camera work, storytelling and acting in this film is great and it was really hilarious. Fuck capitalism.
Ps: it took me like half the movie to figure out Ben was Bratt Pitt. Revaluating his level of attractiveness after this.
